BAPTISM PROCESS

Only the Lord Jesus Christ has the power to baptize a true Believer in the Holy Spirit. He may delegates any of His chosen few to baptize a repentant Believer (Acts 9v17, 19v5-6 )or directly baptize him by Himself (Acts 2v1-4)

The more you do the will of God, read the scriptures, the more you are sure to be baptized in the Holy Spirit.Remember, the Holy Spirit is given by the grace of God not by your work of righteousness (Ephesians 2v8-9,Titus 3v5) and the Holy Spirit is a gift of God which is given at Conversion. It is when the Holy Spirit is given that you are saved (Romans 8v9b)

The baptism of the Holy Spirit takes place when your Spirit is immersed in the Spirit of God. Remember the Holy Spirit joins with your Human Spirit to declare that you are a child of God (Romans 8v16)

You will know that you have been baptized in the Holy Spirit because your Human Spirit will testify to you that you have been baptized in the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit will lead you in every thing when He is in you.

When you are baptized in the Holy Spirit,He,will be placed in your heart to do every thing for you in Christ Jesus (Galatians 4v5-6,2 Corinthians 1v21-22).

When you are baptized in the Holy Spirit, the position of God in your life will be POWER (Acts 1v8 ).

This means that there will be :-
POWER IN YOUR STUDYING THE SCRIPTURES;
POWER IN YOUR PREACHING THE GOOD NEWS;
POWER IN YOUR TEACHING THE GOSPEL;
POWER IN YOUR PRAYERS,AND;
POWER IN EVERYTHING YOU DO

You will become one of the chosen FEW and not one of the pretending MANY.

CONVERSION PROCESS

-A true Christian or a true saint or a true born again Christian is the believer who is baptized in the Holy Spirit-Act 19v1-6;

-The Conversion Process is the process of being converted from a state of unsaved –full of sinfulness and unrighteousness to a state of being saved-full of righteousness, sanctified and justified.

-For one to be baptized in the Holy Spirit, He/She must: -

=Hear the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ;

=Believe the Gospel in his/her heart;
\
=Acknowledge that he/she is a sinner;

=Admits to God that he/she is guilty of all sins he /she had committed;

=Confesses his/her sins and repent (turn away) from the sins;

=Be delivered of his/her sins in the power of the Holy Spirit by a person who is already baptized in the Holy Spirit;

=Continue to grow in faith through the worshipping God in spirit and in truth, living by the spirit, reading the scriptures, meditating on the scriptures day-to-day and hour by-hour;

=Wait patiently and expectantly for the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

-ALMIGHTY GOD

-HUMAN BEINGS
HUMAN BEING OR MAN WAS V CREATED PERFECT IN BODY SOUL AND SPIRIT.HE FELL FROM THE GRACE OF GOD BECAUSE OF SIN(DISOBEDIENCE TO GOD).JESUS CHRIST DIED TO RESTORE THE PERFECT SITUATION OF MAN.

-SIN
SIN IS UNRIGHTEOUSNESS THAT IS NOT PLEASING TO GOD ALMIGHTY.
SIN IS THE FOOD OF SATAN.SATAN CANNOT HAVE LEGAL RIGHT OVER YOU IF YOU DO NOT SIN.SATAN DOES NOT FORCE MAN TO SIN BUT TEMPTS MAN TO SIN SO IF YOU DON’T YIELD TO SIN YOU ARE FREE FROM SATANIC MANIPULATIONS AND CONSEQUENCES OF SINS.

-REDEMPTION
REDEMPTION MEANS TO BE PURCHASED BACK FROM A STSTE OF SIN.THE WORK OF REDEMPTION WAS COMPLETED AT CALVARY.ALL YOUR BEINGS ARE REDEMED AT SALVATION.

-SALVATION
SALVATION IS TO BE SET FREE FROM SIN AND ITS PENALTIES.THE CONSEQUENCES OF SINS ARE ETERNAL DOOM,SICKNESSES AND DISEASES,PROBLEMS,TROUBLES,ETC.YOU HAVE TO HERE THE WORD OF GOD,BELIEVE WHAT YOU HEAR,REPENT OF YOUR SINS AND BE DELIVERED IN THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT,THEN YOU LIVE IN HOLINESS AND WAIT PATIENTLY FOR YOUR SALVATION.YOUR ARE SAVED WHEN YOU ARE BAPTISED IN THE HOLY SPIRIT.

STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN POSSESSING GOD’S PROMISES ARE :
(A) PUT YOUR NAME IN THE POSITION OF THE NAME OF THE PERSON TO WHOM THE PROMISE WAS GIVEN;
(B) DO WHAT THE PERSON DID OR WHAT HE WAS WXPECTED OR INSTRUCTED TO DO;
(C) BELIEVE IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS AND;
(D) THE PROMISES MUST WORK FOR YOU.

SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING

The spiritual effectiveness of contemporary Christians in the world has been very very low.

That is why they have been running helter skelter in their Christian life.

They are bewildered, frustrated and confused because they have not been able to realize what their leaders promised them in Christ Jesus.


The Great Commissions have been turned to the Great Omission.

It is now a matter of competitions, money making and earthly enjoyment of mundane things of this world rather than of spiritual conviction, spiritual maturity, spiritual effectiveness and eternal life.

The lack of spiritual understanding of the Holy Book is the beginning of powerlessness and was caused by carnal understanding of the Good News.

Remember to be carnally minded leads to death while to be spiritually minded leads to life and peace (Romans 8v 6).

The blessings received from carnal understanding of the Holy Scriptures include worldly wealthy, bodily health, social belongings and disillusionment caused by the absence of the spiritual gifts resulting from spiritual interpretation of the Bible.


The blessings of spiritual understanding is obviously as promised in Mark 16v15-17 which states that,” He said to them,’ Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well”.

This is the standard for knowing a confirmed believer of Jesus Christ.

Please know that He did not say that you should court troubles and problems by deliberately picking up snakes or drinking deadly poisons. But He is saying that perchance they faced any problems, His Grace will be sufficient to see them through the problems.

We emphasize this particular verse because we realize that in Christendom today, there are some sects who tempt God by testing whether snakes poison will affect them. They bring snakes to the church and let them bite them as a test that they are true believers. They invariably get harmed in the process of practicing their fanatical and carnal interpretation of the Bible.

What we need as true Christians is spiritual interpretation of the Holy Book in order to enjoy the promises of the Lord.

What do we mean by spiritual interpretation?

First of all, let us highlight the injunction of our Lord to what is expected of us in worshiping God in John 4v21-24 which says,” Believe me, woman a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this (Samaritan) mountain nor in Jerusalem. You Samarians worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. Yet a time is coming and the time has now come when the true worshippers will worship the Father in Spirit and Truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the father seeks. God is spirit, and His worshippers must worship Him in spirit and in Truth.”

In order to be able to worship God ‘in Spirit and in Truth’, Believers must be baptized in the Holy Spirit.

Remember Act 19v1-6,when Paul met some Believers in Ephesus and asked them,” Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you became believers?” And they answered him,” we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit”,

In the same way, many believers in contemporary times have not heard of the Holy Spirit, yet they claim to be Christians.

Those who have heard of the Holy Spirit at all are misconstrued about his role, works and functions in salvation and Christian living. That is why they are not effective for Christ Jesus.
