Through the centuries various philosophers have attempted to integrate theories on the essence of music with their particular world views. Many non-Western cultures and some Western writers as well have perceived it as an inherently mystical force, able to unlock elemental truths or principles that cannot be translated into written or graphic form.

Music is an important part of our lives, and has been an important part of every civilization known to man. Sound is often the first input we receive at birth. A child quickly learns to relate certain sounds to specific occurrences: thus, it learns to recognize its mother's voice and associate it with warmth, nourishment and nurture, even though it is ignorant of words.

To assist our debaters, I want to site the books of
1. Acts2v38 on the day that Christianity was inaugurated over 2,000 years ago in which said ,” Repent and be baptized everyone of you and you will receive the HOLY SPIRIT.” And
2. Luke 11v13 where God promised to give the Holy Spirit to those who ask for Him.
3. Matthew 6v33 in which the Lord said “Seek you FIRST the Kingdom of God and Its righteousness and every other things will be added unto you”. It is my believe that Wealth is one of the ‘Every Other Things’, so if a Christian is overemphasizing Prosperity alone in the Gospel blessings, he may miss not only his salvation, but all other things.
4. 2 Corinthians 6v16,1v22,Galatians 4v4-7-where the Holy Spirit will be deposited in your heart upon repentance and baptism as a seal of being a member of God’s family.
5. Romans 8v9b-If anyone does not have the spirit of God, he does not belong to God/Christ.
I suppose having the Spirit of God is more important than all the riches of this world.

HOW HOLY SPIRITUAL IS YOU?

The Lord Jesus Christ promised His Believers the gift of the Holy Spirit (John 7v37-39).
Wherever church or doctrine you have the sentiment for, if you do not have the Holy Spirit you are not a Believer of Jesus Christ (Romans 8v9b,Acts 19v1-6).

12-15=Spiritually Average: could develop more spiritual life if desired. The maturity you have achieved in Christianity(Hebrew 6v1-6) need to be supported by the Holy Spirit before you can perform exploits.
Ask God for the power of spiritual perception and growth so that the promises of Christ can all be fulfilled in your life;

8-11=A practical empiricist lacking self-transcendence. A free Thinker in Christianity with no known affiliation in the spirit.
You are still a babe in Christianity(1 John 2v1-6).
You should utilize the word of God for your understanding, knowledge and be ready for maturity in the faith;

1-7=Highly skeptical: Resistant to developing spiritual awareness. You need to be closer to the word of God (Hebrew 10v26,35-36;1v4-6).
Read it Daily, ask God for spiritual understanding of the word and get your Holy Spirit Baptism Acts 2v38) so that you can be very useful for Christ Jesus.

THE TRUE WORSHIPPERS

God Almighty is looking for True Worshippers-John 4v24.

That is, Christians who will worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.

Are you a True Worshipper? If you are not, please start to be one today.

You may ask me about the real meaning of worshipping God in truth and in Spirit.

Literarily, to worship God in truth means to be very honest with yourself that you solely depend on Him alone for everything and that there is no single lie in you.

Remember, for whatever lies that you tell whether small or big in your field of endeavour, you are simply confirming yourself as a son of satan and not a son of God because the scripture says that satan is the father of lies and he has been lying since he fell from grace-John 8v44. There is no truth in him; hence, there is no truth in his followers.

Satan’s human followers are liers, deceivers and the like so you have to tell the truth at all times in all places and circumstances to show that you are a worshipper of God Almighty.

A little lie makes you son of Satan. Stop deceiving yourself.

To worship God in Spirit means that you are not carnal at all times in your Christian life.

To be carnally minded is death and to be spiritually minded is life and peace-Romans 8v6.

A carnally minded Christians depends on what he sees, what he hears and what other people tell him to take his decision.

He depends on his five senses to worship God.

That is the sense of seeing smelling, hearing, eating and speaking for his Christian life.

If he does not see he cannot believe, hence he cannot have any faith.etc.

There is no way you can please God if you are carnally minded-Romans 8v8.

In fact, you are an enemy of God and whatever approach you use, whether you cry to God or you fast yourself to almost death, your worship will not be accepted, hence, you are a cheap meat to Satan.

Remember, satan has no legal spiritual right over you if you are pleasing to God Almighty-1 John 5v18.

Satan cannot harm you if you are truly faithful to God. He has no legal or spiritual right over you as long as you live the life in the spirit of Christ Jesus.

So be a true worshipper so that your prayers can be answered.

God is merciful and He is ready to forgive you if you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour.

This will qualify you to be baptized in the Holy Spirit which gives you the power of God to ask and be given, to seek and found and to knock so that the door of every good things can be open to you.

You will obviously receive good things all the days of your life if you worship God in truth and in Spirit.

Remember, He neither sleeps nor slumber because of you so no evil thing can harm you if you totally depend on God Almighty alone for everything.

If you are a true worshipper, all the promises of God will come to pass in your life.

You don’t have to depend on any human being as your mentor or mediator with God.

You too can hear directly from Him-John 16v13.

You can have direct assess to Him through His word by His Spirit.

Just have absolute faith in Him, live a Holy life and you will be as powerful as most of the powerful men of God in the world today.

LIFE IN THEHOLY SPIRIT

-There is no condemnation for those who live in union with Christ Jesus (Romans 8v1);
-You will always live a life in the Spirit (Romans 8v1-17);

-He who does not have the Spirit of God, does not belong to Jesus Christ
(Romans 8v9b);
-You will be put right with God Almighty (Romans 8v10);

-The Spirit will make your body to be dead to sin and alive in God’s Righteousness (Romans 8v10);

-Whatever you do for God will be pleasing to God Almighty
(Romans 8v8);
-The God who created us now live inside of us through His word and by His Spirit( 2 Corinthians 6v16 );

-With God living inside of you, who can be against you (NOBODY) (Romans 8v31);

-With God living inside of you, whatever you need shall be given unto you (if you ask according to His will)

-With God living inside of you by the Holy Spirit, He will always make intercession for you (the Saint) according to the will of God (Romans 8v27);
